DTP toner is a chemical aerosol spray used to darken positive laser printouts on tracing paper or film.

When printing a design onto transparency or drafting paper using a standard desktop laser printer, the black toner can sometimes be thin or translucent. DTP toner fixes this to ensure clean exposure. It increases the optical density and blocks light transmission.
